Calligraphy is the art of beautiful writing. There is something of an artistic fervor in calligraphy that equals the frenzy for taste as in the case of painting and craft. People usually look for a lot of beauty and aesthetic value in the school of painting and picture making. There were some princely states in the Chinese country who thought that it would be a beautiful idea to have a script that would boast of a three dimensional aspect even when it was upon a piece of paper. When fountain pens entered the market in the beginning of the 20th century people started using the rear portion of the fountain pen nib for the making broader ink marks in calligraphy and the normal nib end for the purpose of doing the embossing. The popularity of the Calligraphic art took greater dimensions and special pens were designed to order for the express purpose of usage in the art of Calligraphy. Today the market is abundant in fountain pens for the practicing of Calligraphy. As in the case of several other arts the Calligraphic art is sure to make a better mark on the world in the coming years.
