The idea of a fountain pen is slowly and steadily flowing out of the mind of people of the present times. The stiff competition that the bal tip and the more modern and economic versions of the felt pen are gradually consuming the market for fountain pens. The very idea of a fountain pen is silently   slipping out of the minds of people. There was a time when a father would gift his son   with his first pen at the time of the latter’s life when he would reach standard five in the local school and the pen would be a leaky fountain pen out of the local stationery shop which the father would chose with much care and pride for the young child he had at home waiting the return of his father from work with eager eyes.

Today the world has gone on to become a warehouse of the most stylish pens and other means of writing ant the picture of the fountain pen is slowly going on to take a vintage aspect. People are   slowly learning to forget that the child has to be taught the proper manner of using his or her first pen as the child is already well versed in the genre due to the host of pens that are strewn about the house. There are few takers for the leaky, fountain pen, which is still the power behind the neat handwriting that some people are complimented for. There is   no time for filling the barrel of a pen with the ink from   a bottle that has to be taken care of for the period of time that it has no use in the schedule of the modern man. Al said and done people are still very fond of the parker whenever there is the question of a pen as a gift and people have little value for the fountain except as a means of social   recognition. This should   not be happening and the more people fling from the use of ultra modern conveniences that go against the general ways of the happy world the better it is.
